SINGAPORE (April 22): When renovating your home, do not make the mistake of choosing a water heater at the very last minute. This home appliance is as important as your refrigerator or air conditioner. Providing more choice is Ariston, which has launched its Andris2 range comprising Andris2 Lux, Andris2 RS and Andris2 Top — the first WiFi-enabled smart water heater in Singapore that will change the way you think about water heaters. The range comes in aesthetically pleasing monochrome colours that will look stunning in any bathroom. The sleek, compact and minimalistic design does not take up too much space, creating less clutter.

As one of the leading water heater brands in Singapore, Ariston is known to pioneer state-of-the-art technologies in water heaters. The Andris2 storage water heaters are equipped with smart technology such as a long-lasting Titanium Heating element with lifetime warranty (only for Andris2 Top and Andris2 Lux), an energy-saving component with smart ECO-EVO technology (only for Andris2 Top) and AG+ Silver Ions with antibacterial properties for greater hygiene. The remote control Aqua Ariston Net App can be used with the smart water heater to receive shower-ready notifications or regular up-to-date information about water temperature.

Step in the right direction

Shoe label Gianvito Rossi has opened a boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Expect to find its signature pieces such as boots and stiletto sandals. The boutique has an impressive design, as world-renowned architect Patricia Urquiola gave it a very feminine appeal with the use of brass and coloured glass in pastel shades.

Clean slate

The Body Shop invites you to try its Himalayan Charcoal collection, which uses only the best ingredients. It contains charcoal that has been hand-harvested from the foothills of the Himalayas, green tea leaves from Japan and tea tree oil from Kenya. The products include the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Clay Wash, Purifying Facial Soap and Purifying Glow Mask.

Red, red wine

O.P.I’s Malaga Wine nail polish has a similar shade to that of Chanel’s iconic Rouge Noir nail polish, which was used by Uma Thurman in the movie Pulp Fiction. The hue was a hit in the mid-1990s and is still an elegant choice for all occasions.

Icon in motion

The Galop d’Hermès watch, launched by the brand this year, was born of designer Ini Archibong’s observations in the Conservatoire des Créations Hermès — the house’s archive. The timepiece mirrors the virtues of the past and intuitions of the future with aerodynamic curves and functional purity. Corners are blurred, the ergonomics are perfect while light is reflected in its curves, warming the metal and suffusing the shapes with vibrancy. It features a domed sapphire crystal and at eight o’clock on the dial, the symbol of infinity becomes an inverted stirrup.

Mellow yellow

Tod’s Styling Bag in yellow brings new, contemporary movement to an impressive style. It features elegant, smooth leather with zip fastening, double handles and a removable strap.
