Beoremote Halo high-end speakers by Bang & Olufsen allows you easy access to music, podcasts, and internet radio stations. It comes with four favourites buttons that offer a one-touch approach to music and an easy switch between TuneIn, Spotify, or Deezer. The display identifies the content being played and also shows a list of connected devices, allowing users to control their multiroom experience. The design features a sculpted object with a crafted aluminium ring, which appears to float in mid-air, encircles a discrete console; it can be mounted on the wall like a piece of art or stand on its own. Priced at about $1,200 and available in natural, brass-tone and bronze-tone anodised aluminium and is available now at Bang & Olufsen Grand Hyatt flagship store in Singapore.

The beauty of it

Chanel gives us one more reason to shop as it unveils its new flagship beauty boutique at ION Orchard. In a space of 95 sq m, the boutique is divided into two areas: the Chanel Beauty Studio and a discovery area created to immerse yourself in the Chanel beauty universe. In the middle of the boutique is the Beauty Creative Table where guests can discover the full range of Chanel makeup through a new experiential journey. Multiple personal interactive screens enable a virtual playground for guests with online makeup tutorials and the opportunity for digital makeovers via the Chanel Try-On feature. Guests will also get to enjoy personalized consultations and make-up tips from the House’s beauty consultants and make-up artists.

Spoilt for choice

Versace has opened a new store that is dedicated to kids. Located at Marina Bay Sands, the store is 90 sq m of style heaven for children with a wide variety of ready-to-wear and accessories. Designed by renowned architect Gwenael Nicolas, the boutique has white marble façade that matches the warm wood flooring in light golden tones. Plush pink, blue and gold carpets add that Versace touch of whimsy. Velvet poufs are placed around the boutique allowing moments of relaxation for kids and for tired parents.

The sweet smell of success

The magic of shoe designer Christian Louboutin enters the world of fragrances through the Loubiworld collection. Each perfume, from the lightest to the most intense, unveils a personal memory, a fantasy, or a dream. Each bottle coated in red lacquer is crowned with a fantastical cap, and each fragrance is a personal story from the creator. One fragrance that caught our attention is the Spicy Oriental that features a crocodile as the guardian of the secrets of the pyramids and this intense elixir is created with myrrh, cypriol and sandalwood.

A fine shampoo

Diane Bonheur launches her new addition to its line of artisanal craft shampoos, Blue Jasmine. These shampoos are made with cold-pressed single origin organic Marula and Prickly Pear Oil from Namibia, Africa that are blended with 100% plant-derived cleansers from Japan. Each bottle is infused with premium floral craft fragrances extracted from the coveted King of Flowers — jasmine from Grasse, France — the craft lightweight formula gives volume and lustre to fine hair.

Home works

Working from home just got a lot more fun because Berluti’s Home & Office Objects collection has teamed up with a select group of European makers such as Werkstätte Carl Auböck, San Lorenzo Silversmiths and Simon Hasan to come very irresistible pieces. The collection includes a magazine rack and a letter opener from 1950 designed by Carl Auböck II. A set of five vases by Simon Hasan is made by using a 15th Century crafts technique in which vegetable tanned leather is heated in water on wooden moulds. Collection is now available at the Berluti Singapore Ngee Ann City store.
