Beauty meets tech
Lancôme announces the launch of its first Beauty Tech Flagship in Southeast Asia in a combined celebration of the 13th anniversary of the Lancôme Advanced Génifique, its iconic No.1 anti-ageing serum. From now until Sept 7, visitors can enjoy a fully immersive and Grandeur activation at the store outside Mandarin Gallery. Come discover the microbiome-skin barrier connection with its Advanced Génifique Serum and the microbiome science behind it. Consumers may now experience the Lancôme Skin Screen, developed with 100% in-house algorithms to allow more inclusivity and better accuracy in its most advanced skin analysis service, and consult with Lancôme Singapore’s very own National Skincare Expert, one of 10 selected globally, for beauty advice.

Preserving nature
Swiss luxury beauty house La Prairie supports Douglas Mandry’s artistic mission to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the beauty of nature and its endangered landscapes. Swiss artist Mandry initiated his investigation of glaciers in 2018 in his Monuments series, creating photograms of melting ice and working with archival photographs of alpine expeditions printed on glacier protective fleece covers.
Douglas’ latest artistic work, titled Gravity Flow, pushes his artistic expression into a new medium. The sculptural work, developed as a public installation displayed in Swiss nature, addresses the urgent topic of climate change and its visible impact on Swiss glaciers, visibly receding from melting as a result of the passing of time and climate change. Gravity Flow is a series of five sculptures — made of 100% recycled glass — presented as a representation and exploration of glaciers, and questioning how humans perceive, represent and interact with their natural surroundings.

If you are a sun worshipper, make sure you take extra special care of your skin. We suggest you try the Vinosun SPF 50+ Very High Protection Lightweight Cream by Caudalie. Apply it after your skincare routine or as a base under make-up. It provides effective protection against the sun’s harmful effects (UVA, UVB, photo-ageing). It is rich in patented polyphenols antioxidant complex and blocks the free radicals responsible for premature ageing. It has been tested dermatologically and is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive.

Crystal clear
In 2021, Swarovski launched a collection that celebrates self-adornment and home accessorising through the lens of the crystal lifestyle. Brought to life by Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, the Fall/Winter 2022 launch builds on Swarovski’s established design language, exploring new silhouettes and introducing pieces spanning lifestyle categories such as watches, writing instruments, phone cases, and more.

Homewares from Germany and Italy
Have a bit of Rosenthal and Versace in your home with the La Medusa vases that are crafted in Germany from premium porcelain. Rosenthal-meets-Versace's latest vase collection is modelled on Versace ́s successful "La Medusa" handbag adorned with a Medusa plaque — the same décor that was discovered on the doors of the brand's first headquarters in Milan. A special detail is the curved offset of the top with the iconic Medusa and fine decorative stitching like on the leather handbag. The cylindrical vases, made of coloured porcelain, are available in three sizes in pastel shades of pink, green and blue.

A jungle out there
Kenzo helps you navigate the sartorial minefield with the release of its Fall-Winter 2022 Women's and Men's Collection by artistic director Nigo. The “Urban Uniforms” launch highlights the dialogue between military elements and East/West tailoring presented in the show at Galerie Vivienne earlier this year.
