Audio excellence anywhere
Astell & Kern launches KANN Ultra, a portable, high-resolution audio player featuring a powerful built-in headphone amplifier. This allows KANN players to drive any headphone, including high-impedance ones, without requiring a separate amplifier.
Users can select between four gain levels — low, mid, high, and super gain modes — for up to 16 Vrms output to provide the precise output required to drive even the most demanding headphones.
With the new Crimson Theme, one of the main features of the fourth-generation UI, the graphics are simple and unintrusive, focusing on usability and intuitiveness. Three key concepts — Edge, Simple, and Dark Mode — were used to improve usability and increase clarity with a style unique to AK. The black and red theme colours are chosen to reduce eye fatigue, maximise battery usage and reduce heat generation.
Balenciaga’s new muse
Nicole Kidman has been appointed as the latest brand ambassador for Balenciaga, marking it a significant collaboration in which she will serve in an official capacity. Renowned actor and producer Kidman, celebrated for exceptional talent, delivers compelling performances in thought-provoking roles throughout her career.
The campaign announcement features a captivating photoshoot by documentary photographer Platon to commemorate her role at Balenciaga. Known for her outstanding performances, she recently graced the Balenciaga 51st Couture show by walking the runway. Kidman effortlessly integrates the brand outside the runway into her diverse artistic and philanthropic pursuits, highlighting a genuine connection to Balenciaga’s style and ethos.

Roger Dubuis has unveiled a flagship boutique, spanning 92 sq m at Marina Bay Sands, designed to resemble an art gallery. Upon entering, clients are enveloped in a warm and intimate atmosphere where traditional and natural materials such as stone, wood, metal, and glass converge to create a truly distinctive setting. The boutique serves as a showcase for all four of the Maison’s distinctive collections: The Excalibur, the Excalibur Spider tailored for thrill-seekers, the Knights of the Round Table featuring exclusive Métiers d’Art pieces, and the Hyper-Watches, known for their high complications and daring designs.
Sustainable style
RIMOWA is broadening its product offerings with a new collection featuring three innovative bag designs crafted from sustainably made nylon, showcasing its commitment to heritage. Named the Signature collection, the designs draw inspiration from RIMOWA’s monogram, a symbol deeply rooted in the brand’s history and connection to the city of Köln. The monogram’s two vertices are artfully designed to mirror the spires of the Kölner Dom, paying homage to RIMOWA’s birthplace.
