Singapore - Running on the weekends between 21 to 30 June 2024, Mercedes-Benz Singapore's "Mission: Electric" proves that test-drives don't have to be hard-sell affairs.
By taking the sales pressure out of the test-drive, there's a lot more chance for one to soak in the vibes of the car.
Even better if you turn it into a fun day out with your friends (or family) in tow (and no sales chaperone in the car!).

Naturally, slots are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis – each slot allows for one driver and up to three guests per car.
Should you choose to accept it (registration cuts on 16th June 2024, 2359hrs!), Mission: Electric is an immersive, half-day experience intended to educate and entertain the participants.
The attendees will be rotated through three Mercedes-Benz EV models (from a fleet of 12) as they embark on a cross-island sustainably-sourced culinary adventure.

Some of the models include EQB, EQE SUV to EQS, with the sportier AMG variants served-up in-between.
The participants will make their way from one experience stop (also a chance to swop drivers if you choose) to the next, with tasks and quizzes that need to be completed along the way.
The Mission begins at the Mercedes-Benz Center, where there'll be a breakfast briefing (we need to fuel-up even if the EQ models don't!) and technical presentation before you get cracking on the day's activities.
Best of all, you'll be able to pack up to four to a car for an engaging half-day out with three driver-swop stops that will top-off with lunch (or High-Tea, depending on your session) at a mystery location, before finishing-off back at the showroom.
We've already had a brief taster (pun intended!) of the Mission so we can give you the low-down, although we've been sworn to secrecy with regards the specific locations.
Just know that "Mission: Electric." will see you cover some 50km across Singapore (it will start and end at the Mercedes-Benz Center), with a route that will take you on winding roads, highways and yes, even "country" roads!
However, the drive in the all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQ models is only a part of the entire experience.
There will be ample opportunity to learn about the EQ models and their features, but also secondary quizzes and challenges engineered to amp-up the teamworking abilities of the car's occupants.
Mercedes-Benz Singapore's "Mission: Electric" aligns with the brand's "Ambition 2039" global initiative, whose objective is achieve a carbon-neutral new car fleet by 2039.
