SINGAPORE (Sept 24): Rock the sports luxe look with Z Zegna’s Summer 2019 collection, which celebrates its endless love for tennis by combining performance-backed tailoring with sportswear. This season’s wardrobe comes in a collage of pastel shades and graphics, enhanced and contrasted with vivid saturated tones. The resistant wool fibres and unique finishing technique of the label’s Techmerino Wash & Go fabric ensures that the full range of deconstructed jackets, bombers, raincoats and tailored drawstring pants can be machine-washed again and again without the need for ironing or fear of losing its shape.

Gucci gang
Bold prints and Chateau Marmont-inspired elements abound in Gucci’s Cruise 2019 collection, unveiled earlier this year in Arles. Its lookbook was shot by British photographer Martin Parr at various locations in Cannes.

Jackets of all trades
Lightweight, loose-fitting jackets and structured off-duty coats make a comeback this fall in the 2018 Loro Piana Fall/Winter Men’s collection, which takes on a rich autumnal palette and sportif élan for active gentlemen. Casual outerwear pieces such as the Vicuña overcoat are updated with new tonal fabrications and tapered proportions with an outdoor spirit, and feature the brand’s protective Storm System technology, which renders the fabric entirely waterproof and wind-resistant.

All tied up
It is all fun and games with the Hermès Men’s Tie collection for AW18. Be it the unexpected disruption of a print pattern or whimsical motifs embroidered across the inner lining, these quirkily designed heavy silk and silk twill accessories are guaranteed to spice up your attire both in and out of the office.

Walkin' on sunshine
With the rollout of Z Zegna’s Summer 2019 collection comes the new Caulera sneakers, named in honour of the Oasi Zegna tennis court, which was built in 1956 by Ermenegildo Zegna in the Oasi Zegna area in Italy. Pair them off with the collection’s fitted blazers and widened shorts over techno logo leggings.

Free and easy
Ditch the briefcase and carry the latest Brunello Cucinelli document holder to work. Covered in cognac-coloured calfskin, this versatile accessory uses a zipper that bellows open to reveal an inner lining of cotton fabric as well as a small side pocket. The outside pocket has a custom magnetic snap closure with the designer’s signature Solomeo logo.

Need for speed
New Balance’s newest model in its FuelCell collection, FuelCell Impulse, is a sleek and speed-oriented silhouette at its core. This sweet pair of kicks combines speed-invoking technology with fashion-forward aesthetics for a powerful running experience.

Eyeing fame
Beijing designer Xander Zhou teams up with Gentle Monster once again to drop these limited-edition shades for 2018. The Gentle Monster x Xander Zhou eyewear retails for $382 and is available at the Korean label’s ION Orchard outlet.

Cool blues
Soak up the sun on your next beach holiday in Ted Baker’s Neekrit Floral Printed Shirt in Light Blue, a classic cotton piece emboldened with flamboyant floral prints. It matches perfectly with the London fashion house’s Proshore Cotton Chino Shorts in Pale Green, which has hems that can be rolled up to reveal a hint of printed lining.

Au neutral
Traditional shapes are given new life in Brunello Cucinelli’s accessories for Fall/Winter 2018, which focuses on amplifying the variety and potential of neutrals from the lightest of beiges to toned-down shades of noble blues and metropolitan greys. The collection’s spontaneity and innovative nature is especially evident in the footwear, which focuses on lightness and comfort, while bags and caps come in a rich selection of models, materials and effects.

In your element
Joining Hermès’ Terre d’Hermès collection this year is the Terre d’Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver, a woody and vegetal recomposition of the original Terre, Woody and Mineral equilibrium of the men’s fragrance when it was first released as an Eau de Toilette in 2006. Housed in the same iconic bottle as its predecessors, the 2018 edition of this classic line has been reinvigorated with notes of vetiver, Sichuan pepper and bergamot orange.
