Anya Hindmarch’s new handbags are must-haves

SINGAPORE (Jan 28): Anya Hindmarch’s Shoelace Tote and Nevis Tote from its Spring/Summer 2019 collection are bags that will jazz up any outfit. The Shoelace Tote is one for the corporate warrior, as it has an internal pocket to store your phone, a zipped compartment for your important items as well as credit card slots. It comes in three shades — black, marine and tan, with a contrasting shade for the shoulder strap. A lot of thought has gone into the shoelace detail — it is cross-stitched by hand and meant to hang, not tied. If a bold shade is what you desire, then the Nevis Tote in bright red is the bag for you. It has a zip closure to keep your cards safe within an internal leather card holder. You can also personalise your tote with some cute bag charms.

Get glowing

This season, add radiance with Laniege’s Stained Glow Lip Balm and Cheek Glow. The Lip Balm hydrates the lips and contains a smart tinting colour technology to brighten up the lips. Finish the look with Cheek Glow to give your cheeks that dewy appearance. The cushion puff makes it easy to apply and the colour stays fresh all day.

Precision without borders

The latest version of the Senator Cosmopolite from Glashütte Original features a minimalistic design and sophisticated time zone mechanism. It has dark blue poire hands against a matte white dial with blue Arabic numerals and indices. Two slender windows are positioned in the curve of the dial at eight o’clock and indicate the destination, using the IATA codes in one of three colours, and taking daylight saving and standard time into account. The 89-02 manufactory movement displays the time of day in two time zones at once, without the wearer having to make any calculations himself.

Mesmerise in blue

Patek Philippe has introduced a blue dial for its Ref 5205 Annual Calendar in white gold, pairing the shimmer of the precious metal with an elegant two-tone sunburst dial and a subtle black gradation. Its contemporary style is underscored by luminous three-face Dauphine hands and applied white-gold hour markers. The slightly concave bezel and delicately pierced strap lugs are among the special facets of the case. The self-winding calibre 324 S QA LU 24H/206, with Patek Philippe’s annual calendar mechanism, automatically recognises months with 30 and 31 days and displays the day of the week as well as the month. This is crowned by a precise moon-phase display, which takes 122 years to deviate from the actual lunar cycle by one day.

Ciao Bella

The gorgeous Bella Hadid must have turned many heads in Milan on Jan 12 when she stepped out in a black pied de poule Versace jacket and skirt along with a Versace belt and gold earrings.

Walking on bubbles

Imagine a shoe so comfortable it feels like you are walking on bubbles. Moncler’s sneakers have a lightweight sole made in the shape of bubbles, which are cleverly arranged to take the shape of your foot. The uppers resemble knitted socks.
