French luxury make-up houses are taking on spring 2017 with bright, playful shades and multipurpose innovations that are easy to use and wear

PARISIAN TOUCH
Here’s a little je ne sais quoi to score the fresh-faced, no-make-up look while retaining plenty of feminine charm. Guerlain’s Lip & Cheek Tint from its La Petite Robe Noire 2017 make-up collection promises to maintain your skin’s moisture level while gracing your cheekbones and smile with subtle touches of rosy pink, a hue whose intensity can be built up to match your mood or desire. Housed in a miniature replica of the iconic LPRN fragrance bottle, this two-in-one formula is also said to evoke a delicious gourmand fragrance in a nod to the brand’s olfactory legacy.

BEAUTY LUMINARY
In her first-ever cruise collection for Chanel, make-up artist Lucia Pica introduces four shades of radiance-boosting highlighters in the form of Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Colour in Light, Medium Light, Medium Deep and Deep. These will be available from April 27 at selected Chanel boutiques including at ION Orchard and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, and from May 5 at all of the design powerhouse’s fragrance and beauty stores. Dust this reflective powder lightly along your temples, nose, cheeks or chin to recreate a multidimensional warmth and natural glamour as seen on the spring/summer 2017 Chanel Haute Couture Show runways.

BACK TO SCHOOL
Clarins has launched a limited-edition 4-Colour All-in-One Pen: a compact, smart product containing all you will need for contouring, shaping and lining the brows, eyes, lips and even complexion. Inspired by the four-colour retractable biro pen, this carry-around “toolbox” comprises intense black that serves as a glamorous graphic eyeliner for a dramatic look. The chocolate option can be used to either warm the eyes, intensify one’s eyebrows or even draw natural-looking freckles. To rim the eyes, indigo blue is another feature of the pen to pull off the latest cerulean waterline trend worn by celebrities the world over. The fourth universal nude shade keeps almost any lip colour in check and on point.
