The Edge Singapore’s lifestyle team Options publishes second issue of HAVEN
The latest in luxury furnishings and helpful hacks to strike a balance between work and play at home
Following on the success of the last year’s issue of HAVEN, the second issue is launched with a focus on finding that happy balance between work and play.
Bundled together with the Oct 11 issue of business investment publication, The Edge Singapore, the annual home interiors supplement will feature 36 pages of helpful tips for home owners to turn their pads into multi-functional spaces.
Last year was all about integrating work life with home life, but this year we’re focussing on adding joy to our personal spaces with colour, accents and refined objects of beauty. - Audrey Simon, the editor of HAVEN.

In this second issue, the features are centred on home tips and tricks such as buying art; restoring heirloom furniture; enlivening rooms with indoor plants; picking a sofa that allows for work as well as lazing on; plus essential items to keep living spaces clean and germ-free.
HAVEN also interviews interior design firms such as Livspace and A Common Thread on new home trends arising as a result of the pandemic, such as a growing demand for Zoom-ready backdrops, and ways to turn living spaces into chic entertainment zones.
The magazine will also showcase new condominium projects — Van Holland and One Bernam — both part of major revitalisation projects in the Holland Village and Tanjong Pagar districts respectively.

Bernard Tong, CEO, and publisher of The Edge Publishing said this issue of HAVEN hits the nail on the head with its relevant topics. “These are trying times for everyone and we need to relook at living spaces that are now a hybrid for work and play,” he said.
