Singapore has welcomed a new player in luxury electric travel with the arrival of Denza, the esteemed electric vehicle marque from BYD. The launch, marking Denza's foray into its third market in the Asia Pacific, signifies a pivotal chapter in the evolution of mobility, where luxury merges seamlessly with avant-garde technology and unmatched safety.

The perfect blend of luxury and practicality for families and business executives

The brand’s introduction is more than just an expansion—it's a celebration of a decade of BYD's resonance with Singapore's automotive market. This venture not only spotlights BYD’s innovation and dominance in the electric vehicle sector but also underscores the growing allure of luxury Multi-Purpose Vehicles (MPVs) in the region.

The star of the show, the Denza D9, encapsulates what it means to redefine luxury. With over 200,000 units snapped up in China alone over two years, the D9’s allure is palpable. The D9’s cavernous interior is a haven of sophistication, boasting premium Nappa leather seats, versatile retractable tables, and bespoke conveniences like an in-built refrigerator and wireless charging ports. Additionally, the D9 features a state-of-the-art multimedia system enhanced by Dynaudio sound, offering passengers a sublime auditory experience—even providing the luxury of in-car karaoke.

A significant part of the launch was the dealer agreement signing ceremony. BYD Singapore has appointed two prestigious dealers for Denzae: Vantage Automotive and Harmony New Energy Auto Service. Vantage Automotive has already inaugurated the first Denza showroom at Alexandra Road, adjacent to the newly revamped BYD flagship showroom. Meanwhile, Harmony New Energy Auto Service is set to open its showroom by the end of October at Ubi Close.

Inclusive of an $8,000 launch discount with six bids guaranteed COE, the Elite FWD variant is priced at $296,888, while the Grandeur AWD variant is priced at $341,888 (based on COE price dated Oct 9, 2024).
