The renovated Lexus Boutique in Singapore is the perfect intersection of luxury and omotenashi

In a bold move to redefine luxury mobility, Lexus Singapore has unveiled its refreshed Lexus Boutique in the Leng Kee car-belt.

This sumptuous sanctuary promises an immersive experience that engages all five senses, and is the perfect intersection of luxury and omotenashi – Japan's revered art of hospitality.

The Lexus Boutique on Level 1 and exclusive Lexus L Gallery on Level 2 (pictured above) showcase the brand's unwavering dedication to craftsmanship, excellence and exclusivity.

Every guest is treated like royalty, with personalised attention and bespoke services to elevate the brand experience, all with the aim of retaining the inner circle of Lexus owners, yet simultaneously appealing to a younger group of customers.

“Our vision at Lexus is to redefine luxury mobility, creating an experience that goes beyond materials and engages all five senses,” says Mr. Ng Khee Siong, managing director of Borneo Motors Singapore (pictured above).

“In our new Lexus Boutique, we want guests to feel the essence of Lexus in every detail – from the sights, sounds, and scents to the warm welcome that reflects our commitment to Omotenashi, the Japanese art of hospitality. Guided by this ethos, we aim to offer not just a product but a deeply immersive experience, one that embodies care, respect, and a genuine sense of belonging to the Lexus family,” he continues.

From dedicated parking and personalised escorts to welcome drinks and refreshing towels, every touchpoint is meticulously curated to ensure a seamless and luxurious experience.

The elegant Customer Lounge offers exclusively curated food and beverage experiences, while the bespoke car delivery service marks the beginning of ownership with unforgettable flair.

Aftersales guests can indulge in revamped breakfast options, including Japanese, local, Western, and vegetarian choices, paired with Lexus' custom blend coffee.

“The Lexus Boutique is not just a space to view cars; it’s a fully immersive experience of what the Lexus brand stands for. Every element, from the zen gardens and the ambient music, the white tea notes in the calming scents, and to the curated culinary offerings, has been carefully designed to engage all five senses of each guest,” shares Mr. Ng, “This makes each  visit as memorable as driving a Lexus vehicle, embodying the Lexus ethos Experience Amazing.”

"It's really very difficult to single-out one element. When you talk about experience, it's a combination of all your sensory engagements. All the elements have to be in harmony and work in balance, becayse if you have the right balance of elements you will feel a sense of comfort, a sense of relaxation, and you will enjoy the Lexus experience. It is an art to be able to attain the right balance," Ng tells us.

He continues, "After all, if you're going to spend a couple of hundred thousand dollars on a car, the experience becomes very important. True, many customers conduct their research online, but if we were to take a sample poll, 80-90% of our customers will tell you they want to go to a showroom to conclude the purchase. And when you come to the showroom, the brand identity becomes extremely important. And this is the reason why we have doubled-down on revitalising the entire showroom experience for Lexus."
