Lema, together with designer David Lopez Quincoces, redefines the way we think about tables, the most important piece of furniture in our home

SINGAPORE (Feb 25): Home decor ideas of the excessive 1920s and the minimalist 1940s were given a brilliant mashup by designer David Lopez Quincoces when he created the Alamo Table for Lema. Established in 1970 by the Meroni family, Lema works with a few selected architects and designers to produce pieces that are innovative and functional.

Quincoces, who was born in Madrid and now resides in Milan, has an impressive academic and design record: He has a degree in art from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master’s in interior design from the Politecnico di Milano.

He has worked on a number of interior design and architecture projects, such as showrooms, fair stands, private apartments, offices, hotels and resorts, both in Italy and abroad.

For the Alamo Table collection, Quincoces plays on the theme of lightness without compromising on design. The angular structure is in bronze-coated painted metal and the table top is made of stratified aluminium, which is characterised by a new and exclusive tactile finish, composed of resin, pigmented marble powder and shavings of precious metals, such as bronze and brass. The table’s timeless design is complemented by the combination of different materials.

To suit the colour scheme of your home, choose from three colour options: natural stone in Blu Lapislazzuli, Verde Malachite and Nero Belgian Blue. Alamo is also available in heat-treated oak in four different sizes: 2400/2700/3000/3300mm x 905mm x 710 mm (L X W X H).
