A variety of tours, events and workshops on the theme of sustainability will be the order of the day at ION Orchard this June and July. As part of the mall’s vision to encourage a more sustainable way of living, ION Orchard today launched its “Love Our World” campaign, which aims to educate shoppers on climate change and promote green efforts such as reduce, reuse, and recycle as well as encourage shoppers to embark on a sustainable journey.

According to Yeo Mui Hong, CEO of Orchard Turn Developments, every day small acts can add up to make a bigger impact and with that, ION Orchard is marking its second year endorsing sustainability efforts.

“For the second year, ION Orchard aims to support shoppers on their journey towards a sustainable future by educating, encouraging and rewarding them. First launched in October 2021, the mall’s eco-conscious Green Points programme will continue to reward shoppers when they adopt greener shopping and dining practices at the mall. These sustainability efforts and initiatives represent our commitment to promote greener living in Singapore,” says Yeo.

Key highlights of the campaign include a Sustainability Trail, where participants can take part in store workshops and tours organised by participating brands including Bynd Artisan, L’occitane and Nespresso.

Wellness events such as sunrise urban yoga sessions by lululemon at outdoor L1 ION, at the cross-junction of Orchard Road and Paterson Road will present a unique experience and photo opportunities.

Other highlights to get shoppers to go green include different spending promotions and a chance to earn 2X Green Points rewards during the Hari Raya Haji weekend from July 8 to 11.
