Vibe Hotel Singapore Orchard, the first international property under the Australian chain, opened its doors to guests on Nov 3. Managed by Far East Hospitality, Vibe Singapore aims to be a social space for guests to connect with like-minded travellers and the local area.

Vibe Singapore houses 256 rooms across five room categories — Superior, Deluxe, Premier, Family and Suites — with rooms starting from 23 sq m. The five Suites are estimated to be available for booking in the second quarter of 2023. Formerly known as the Elizabeth Hotel, Vibe Singapore underwent an eight-month-long renovation this year.

The refreshed property is located in the residential enclave of Orchard Road at 24 Mount Elizabeth, within easy access to Singapore’s longest shopping belt.

As the first Vibe Hotel property to open outside of Australia, Vibe Singapore aims to deliver a taste of Australia to locals, while greeting overseas visitors as a trusted and familiar friend. Vibe Hotel’s team of staff — also known as “Vibe Hosts” — aims to make meaningful, fulfilling connections with guests.

Guests are first welcomed at the Lobby Bar, which transitions from a lush cafe setting offering barista-made coffee in the day to a watering hole at night serving up an assortment of classic cocktails, craft beers and a selection of wines from around the world available by the glass.

Located in the lobby of Vibe Singapore is ROOS, an all-day dining destination for hotel guests and diners. Named after the Australian slang for kangaroos, ROOS offers a laid-back dining experience with Aussie-inspired brekkie items, all-day grills, handmade pasta and a selection of Asian fare.

ROOS is the latest concept by lifestyle group Caerus Holding, the company behind established F&B brands such as Lady M, Mr Holmes Bakehouse and Luke’s Lobster.

In collaboration with Penfolds, one of Australia’s leading winemakers, diners in search of premium wines are welcome to step inside the Penfolds Lounge, a walk-in cellar with an impressive floorto-ceiling display of wines.

The hotel’s outdoor swimming pool serves as a space for guests to enjoy an outdoor barbecue with friends and family. Guests will be able to work up a sweat at the 24-hour gym, while a poolside cocktail bar will be ready to welcome guests in the coming months.

Corporate guests staying in Premier rooms can pick up a quick snack from the Vibe Pantry, Vibe Singapore’s 24- hour self-service counter offering the convenience of takeaway treats.

Premier Room guests can access the pantry with an additional $35++ fee per pax, per day — and entry is exclusive to guests of this room type. Guests on business trips can find two adjoining meeting rooms on the second floor of Vibe Singapore, which can be combined to seat six tables of 10.
