The furniture store launches bigger outlet showcasing interesting home concepts
W. Atelier’s new showroom is an Aladdin’s cave of home products. The outlet on Henderson Road occupies 20,000 sq ft of space and boasts a wide range of bathroom, living and kitchen items.

Some 300 guests, comprising partners and major players in the design and architecture scene, were present at the grand opening of the showroom on July 21.

Canapés were prepared in the TOTO and SieMatic kitchens by chefs from Michelin-star restaurant Saint Pierre — helmed by Emmanuel Stroobant — for guests to sample. They also had a chance to try out the iconic Ro and Egg chairs by Fritz Hansen, sofas by Lema and Zanotta, and view the lighting installations by Lightyears, Lasvit and Santa & Cole and the TOTO bathroom and living displays.

The showroom was officially declared open by Gani Atmadiredja and Daniel Magg, managing director and general manager of W. Atelier respectively, and Hanafi Atmadiredja, managing director of TOTO Indonesia. The emcee for the event was American actor-host Bobby Tonelli.
