SINGAPORE (March 10): With weak electricity prices driving Hyflux’s energy division into losses and desalination margins narrow amid intense competition, CEO Olivia Lum is bringing in new revenue streams to help tide over the short term.

And Lum believes she has found a lucrative source of income with her new business called ELO Water, a drinking water that has been enriched with oxygen through a proprietary process and sold directly to consumers.

But the ELO Water division is more than just about selling special drinking water. It also manufactures ELO Gel beauty product and operates ELO Lab, a health and wellness spa storefront.
