SINGAPORE (Feb 27): Raffles Medical Group says it has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to “explore cooperation” between itself and China’s Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee on “healthcare-related projects”.

Established in mid-2011, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area is China’s first state-level development area in inland China.

Together with its financial statement last Monday, the group had noted that some multinational corporations (MNCs) have begun consuming the group’s medical services outside Singapore, such as in Shanghai and Beijing.
