SINGAPORE (May 5): Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced Friday that total Securities market turnover value in April was $21.6 billion, 2% higher than a year ago. However, this was 26% lower month-on-month compared to March.

There were 19 trading days in April 2017, compared to 21 trading days in April last year, and 23 in March 2017.

Securities daily average value (SDAV) grew 13% y-o-y to $1.135 billion, but was down 10% compared to a month ago.
