SGX market turnover up 23% to $26.5 bil in May

SINGAPORE (June 7): Singapore Exchange (SGX) saw a 23% year-on-year increase in total Securities market turnover value to $26.5 billion in May. This was also a 23% increase compared to April.

There were 21 trading days in May 2017, compared with 19 trading days in April 2017 and 21 trading days in May last year.

Securities daily average value (SDAV) grew 23% y-o-y and 11% m-o-m to $1.261 billion.
