SINGAPORE (Nov 17): Singapore's key non-oil domestic exports rose faster-than-expected in October, helped by growing demand and a low base of comparison.

Exports of goods made in the republic rose 20.9% in October, compared with a year earlier, after falling 1.1% in September, trade promotion agency IE Singapore announced on Friday.

The median estimate of 10 economists in a poll by The Wall Street Journal was for October exports to expand 9.4% from a year earlier.
