SINGAPORE (Jan 11): Singapore's visitor arrivals grew by double digits in September and October, putting year-to-date increases at 5.8%, data from its tourism board shows.

That could be a sign that the city-state's tourism sector may be on the mend.

For travellers by air who are generally the type who spend more, the growth has been 6.7%.
