Singapore eDevelopment to introduce ‘functional fragrances’ in new collaboration

SINGAPORE (Aug 15): Global BioLife, the biomedical indirect subsidiary of Catalist-listed Singapore eDevelopment (SeD), is collaborating with US-based perfume manufacturer Chemia Corporation to develop a suite of functional fragrances for industrial and medical applications.

Named Functional Fragrance Formulation (3F), the fragrance range is meant to counter mosquito-borne diseases, stress and anxiety – and are designed for anti-viral medical applications, says SeD in a press release on Tuesday.

The first product in the 3F suite of products is entitled 3F Mosquito, which is made up of specialised oils sourced from botanicals that are known to be avoided by mosquitoes.
