SINGAPORE (Nov 23): Singapore has raised its economic growth forecast for this year to between 3% and 3.5% after 3Q data beat analysts' forecasts on the back of stronger exports and manufacturing.

The economy grew 8.8% in July-September from the 2Q ended June on an annualised and seasonally adjusted basis, said Ministry of Trade and Industry in a statement on Thursday.

The government's initial estimate, released on Oct 13, had shown that the economy grew 6.3% in 3Q.
