SingPost to start trial of e-three-wheeler for mail delivery

SINGAPORE (March 25): Singapore Post and TUMCREATE will start from March 28 the road trial of a prototype electric three-wheeler to boost mail delivery efficiency.

Developed by researchers with TUMCREATE, in conjunction with SingPost, the customised vehicle will serve as a test bed for concepts that will guide SingPost’s application of electric vehicle technology for postal operations and e-commerce logistics.

The trial will take place along two delivery routes between SingPost’s Ayer Rajah Regional Delivery Base and the National University of Singapore and end on April 7.
