SINGAPORE (Feb 23): ST Electronics, a unit of ST Engineering, is partnering Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA) to develop TeLEOS-2, the next-generation Earth Observation Satellite.

In a Thursday press release, ST Electronics says the partnership, which was signed at the Global Space Technology Convention (GSTC) 2017, will further propel the growth of Singapore’s space industry and strengthen ST Electronic’s position in the global space market.

TeLEOS-2 builds on the successful completion and launch of TeLEOS-1, Singapore’s first made-in-Singapore commercial Earth Observation Satellite.
