SINGAPORE (May 30): ST Engineering announced Tuesday that ST Aerospace Engineering (STA Engineering) has injected an additional US$21.5 million ($30.0 million) into the capital of its pilot training subsidiary, ST Aerospace Academy (STAA).

This brings STA Engineering’s total investment in the pilot training subsidiary to about US$34.5 million.

ST Engineering says in a filing to SGX that the capital injection is done through a capitalisation of existing intercompany loans into equity. STA Engineering’s shareholding in STAA will remain at 100%.
