SINGAPORE (June 21): Sunpower Group and its consortium partners have secured a RMB105 million ($22 million) tender from Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel to provide flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the latter’s coking plant.

As part of a tripartite consortium, Sunpower will undertake about 60% of the project including project design, procurement and supply of equipment and materials, construction, commissioning and delivery.

The project is expected to be delivered by the end of the year, and have a positive impact on Sunpower’s financial performance for FY18.
