SINGAPORE (June 14): A 2x50MW coal-fired power plant in Indonesia designed by a subsidiary of Sunpower Group has been successfully connected to the local grid.

This is the 35th power plant which Sunpower's subsidiary Shandong Yangguang Engineering Design Institute Co. has provided design services for in Indonesia.

Sunpower said Yangguang Institute has a strong track record of over 1,000 projects in China and has strengthened Sunpower’s continued expansion into the green investments or GI business.
