Sunpower wins $20 mil M&S contracts for world's largest amino acid project

SINGAPORE (June 7): Sunpower Group, the environmental protection solutions specialist, has secured two manufacturing and services (M&S) contracts worth about RMB 95.5 million ($19.9 million) from a repeat client – Shandong NHU Amino Acid Company.

The contract will involve the group supplying all key zirconium equipment for Shandong NHU’s Methionine (MET) project, the largest amino acid project in the world.

The group will start supplying the equipment in 1H18 and expects to complete in early 2019.
