Sunseap gets $75 mil investment from Banpu of Thailand

SINGAPORE (Sept 19): Sunseap Group, the provider of clean energy solutions, has won $75 million of investment from Banpu Public Company in Thailand.

Listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Banpu is a pioneering Asian energy company with power, coal and renewable energy businesses in nine countries. The additional funding will bring Sunseap’s equity value to $300 million and will be used for solar projects across Asia.

The two companies plan to leverage on each other’s networks and domain expertise to grow in the alternative energy market.
