The investigation of Lai came nearly half a year after AA Group found itself on the receiving end of demand for repayment of money it did not borrow.

SINGAPORE (Mar 15): AA Group Holdings, the manufacturer of loudspeaker parts, said wholly-owned subsidiary, Engineering Manufacturing Services (EMS), has been charged with an offence under the Workplace Security Act following a worksite accident.

SINGAPORE (Jan 23): AA Group Holdings has entered into an agreement to acquire the entire issued and paid-up share capital of Engineering Manufacturing Services (S) from Poh Huat Heng Corporation (PHH) for an aggregate consideration of $25 million.
