SINGAPORE (Sept 18): Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean on Tuesday announced the setting up of the Asean-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (ASCCE) to build the region’s cybersecurity capacity.

“Cyber-attacks are no longer a question of if, but when and how far or how deep they can get in our systems,” says Teo, who is also Coordinating Minister for National Security. “They are becoming more common all over the world as we digitalise our societies and economies.”
