SINGAPORE (May 23): Yongnam Holdings announced that its 30%-owned joint venture (JV) with Leighton Asia has secured a $553.8 million tunnel and infrastructure contract, as part of the North-South Corridor project.

Leighton Asia, an international construction company, holds the balance 70% of the joint venture and is part of CIMIC Group listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

This contract was awarded by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and is expected to commence in 2Q18 and complete by 2026.
