SINGAPORE (June 29): Sino Grandness Food Industry Group has expanded its distribution network further in the China market with its own-branded products, namely across Meiyijia convenience stores and Meiyiduo supermarkets in China.
The products comprise Sino Grandness’ Garden Fresh juices, Grandness canned fruits, and First snack products.
Meiyijia convenience stores are managed by Dongguan Sugar & Alcohol Group Holding. As at May 2018, the chain has more than 15 million online customers with over 13,000 stores across 13 provinces and 68 cities across China.
Sino Grandness chairman and CEO, Huang Yupeng, deems the entry into Meiyijia’s network a timely opportunity for the group to leverage on the convenience store chain’s growing presence, which he believes will increase the brand visibility of Garden Fresh, Grandness and First.
On the other hand, Meiyiduo supermarkets are managed Shenzhen Meiyiduo Operation Management (MOML), which presently manages more than 170 supermarkets and convenience stores under variousnames including Meiyiduo.
“Our distributors have continued to express strong interests and excitement to our expanded product range during the Chengdu trade exhibition in April 2018. The distributors will continue to assist our company to expand our foot print in China because we have a strong quality assurance track record and offer a broad range of products which can cater to different kinds of customers and sales channels,” says Huang Yupeng, Chairman and CEO of Sino Grandness.
“Going forward, we will continue to work with strategic distributors who can assist us to expand our network with other leading convenience stores operators,” he adds.
Shares in Sino Grandness closed 2.5% higher at 20 cents on Friday.
