Yoma Strategic Holdings has announced the launch of the inaugural franchise of its YKKO food and beverage (F&B) brand. YKKO refers to Yankin Kyay Oh Group of Companies, a Myanmar restaurant chain, in which Yoma purchased a majority stake in February 2019.
According to Yoma, YKKO has become a symbol of authentic Kyay Oh cuisine since it was established in 1988.
The inaugural YKKO franchise outlets are scheduled to launch in Htauk Kyant, located on the outskirts of Yangon, and Pyay, in the Bago region, by March 2024.

For the three months ended Dec 31, 2023, Yoma F&B reported revenue of US$8.7 million ($11.6 million), 33.8% higher y-o-y.

Shares in Yoma Strategic closed 0.2 cents lower or 4.08% down at 4.7 cents on March 14.
