GHY Culture & Media says it has resumed filming and production activities in Malaysia for its upcoming drama series Sisterhood 南洋女儿情 in October.

Filming and production activities are currently progressing at the same time in China and Malaysia.

The group adds that it is on track to complete the activities within the revised production and release timeline.

As Malaysia’s Covid-19 situation continues to improve, GHY Culture & Media says it is “well positioned to ramp-up productions across its TV Program and Film Production and Concert Production”.

Previously, the group announced, on July 13, that the movement control order (MCO) in Malaysia had disrupted its filming and production activities in the country, which resulted in delays to its production pipeline in 2021.

Shares in GHY closed 0.5 cent higher or 0.86% up at 59 cents on Oct 25.
