Razer Fintech, the financial technology arm of lifestyle and gaming brand Razer, has partnered with Perx Technologies, the Singapore-based company that consolidates loyalty programmes in one app, to redefine the banking experience for users, especially youths and millennials.
The partnership is the next step forward in Razer Fintech’s plan to build the world’s first youth bank.
The partnership will leverage on Razer’s global following amongst the gaming and youth communities to appeal to digital natives, as well as data-led attributes related to lifestyle, preferences, and goals from Perx Technologies.
According to a statement released on September 24, Razer Fintech says its customers are set to experience a seamless, digital lifestyle -- personalised to reward every action taken.
The Perx platform will monitor the effectiveness of customer engagement to drive better results.
On January 2, Razer Fintech, together with a consortium of investors, submitted its application for a digital full bank license in Singapore.

Partners in the consortium included insurance company FWD and Sheng Siong Holdings, the private vehicle of the Lim brothers, who are controlling shareholders of supermarket chain operator Sheng Siong Group.
