Japan Foods Holdings says its chief chef, Chan Fuang Chiang, is resigning, with effect from Dec 6.

In a Nov 18 bourse filing, the group says Chan’s resignation is attributed to personal reasons.

Chan was appointed as chief chef of the group on July 4, 2001, and was responsible for maintaining Japan Foods’ food quality standards and developing new menu items.

Following his resignation, the group adds that his responsibilities are expected to be fulfilled by Japan Foods’ existing food and beverage (F&B) team.

Shares in Japan Foods Holdings closed flat at 30 cents on Nov 18.
