Soon comes with over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry and is currently the CEO of FPHT.

Frasers Property Singapore has appointed Soon Su Lin as its new CEO, effective April 1.

Soon will report directly to Frasers Property’s group CEO Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi.

“Frasers Property Singapore remains a resilient and important business of the group. Su Lin has been my choice to take on the Singapore leadership role with her deep knowledge of the real estate landscape,” says Sirivadhanabhakdi.

“She brings with her a wealth of leadership experience in development and investment, sharp insight and a strong track record of delivery. She is a great believer in Frasers Property and the role we play in this part of the world. I look forward to supporting her in the transition to her new role,” he adds.

In her new role, Soon will oversee the group’s operations in Singapore, which comprises Frasers Property Retail as well as its other commercial and retail businesses.

Soon comes with over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry and is currently the CEO of Frasers Property (Holdings) Thailand’s (FPHT) development business.

FPHT is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Frasers Property.

In her current role, she wears many hats and oversees the full spectrum of property development, which includes from master planning and concept development to design, construction, project branding, marketing, leasing and sales strategies and investment matters.

One of her projects includes the fully integrated mixed-use lifestyle district, One Bangkok, which has a total gross floor area (GFA) of over 20 million sq ft. One Bangkok is a joint venture between FPHT and TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

On her appointment, Soon says, “It is a privilege to be asked to next lead and grow the Singapore business. Frasers Property has a strong and established presence in Singapore with continued potential for growth. I am grateful to be in a company that believes in delivering inspiring experiences for our people, customers and partners and in making a positive impact in the built environment.”

“I look forward to returning home to continue working with Panote and the senior management team, and to lead a strong team as we continue building a more resilient, future-ready real estate business in Singapore,” she adds.

As at 3.55pm, shares in Frasers Property are trading flat at $1.13.
