Keppel REIT Management, manager of Keppel REIT, has appointed Koh Wee Lih as its new CEO.
The appointment takes effect on Dec 1.
Koh is now CEO of AIMS APAC REIT Management, which, on Sept 8, announced that he has resigned and his last day is Nov 28.
Koh will take over from Paul Tham, who is stepping down on Oct 20 to “pursue other opportunities”.
Shirley Ng, Keppel REIT’s current deputy CEO and head of investment, will be the acting CEO in the transition.
“Wee Lih brings to Keppel REIT his depth of experience in real estate investment, asset management and redevelopment and corporate finance,” says Keppel REIT chairman Penny Goh.
“The board looks forward to working with Wee Lih in Keppel REIT’s next phase of growth as we continue our drive to optimise and grow Keppel REIT’s portfolio for stable and sustainable returns to our unitholders,” she adds.
Keppel REIT closed Sept 28 at $1.05, unchanged for the day, and down 6.25% year to date.
