The manager of AIMS APAC REIT says it is in “exclusive due diligence” on Avaya House located in Macquarie Park, Sydney, Australia, but it has not entered into any binding agreement to acquire the property yet.

There is also no certainty that the acquisition will go through, adds the manager.

The manager was referring to media reports concerning a proposed acquisition by the REIT.

“AA REIT’s mission is to provide investors with sustainable long-term returns through strategic acquisitions and partnerships, prudent capital management and proactive asset management of a high quality industrial, logistics and business park real estate portfolio throughout Asia Pacific,” reads the statement released on May 6.

Units in AA REIT closed at $1.41 on May 5.
