Here’s a handy round-up of some of the EVs coming to Singapore
Audi Q6 e-tron
The Q6 e-tron marks the debut of the Group’s PPE (or Premium Platform Electric) platform in the Audi model range, with the familiar e-tron design language even further refined.
Available in either quattro all-wheel-drive or RWD guises, the Q6 e-tron energises the e-tron range and is expected to set new benchmarks in terms of e-performance, range and dynamics in its segment.

BMW i5 Touring
BMW designs some of the most gorgeous stationwagons in the business that prove to be sophisticated, suave and sporty.
The latest, sixth generation 5 Series Touring (BMW-speak for stationwagon) is available in both ICE and EV flavours, as has been the brand’s gambit in recent years, so customers can have their cake and eat it too. The load volume in the business-end ranges from 570-litres to 1700-litres with the second row folded-flat.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N
After a closed-track session in the Ioniq 5 N some months back, it’s clear that this 600+hp/700+Nm crossover beast is a precision driving instrument created by petrolheads for petrolheads. (Read our First Drive Review HERE).

EV purists may pooh-pooh some of the evocative elements we love so much (like the virtual gears and artificial redline for instance) but trust us when we say this is the first EV driving enthusiasts have so much “want” for.
Lotus Emeya
Lotus takes the fight to the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT with the Emeya, its electric Grand Tourer (GT). It is underpinned by 800V architecture and boasts a 0-100km/h acceleration time in under 2.8secs.
The Emeya boasts active aerodynamic features to deliver the dynamic downforce associated with the sportscar brand, so it’s fast not just on the straights, but also the corners.
Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology
That’s a mouthful of a name, but Singapore can expect the appearance of the G-Class (or G-wagen as its fans prefer to refer to it as) this year.
The iconic squared-off silhouette remains unchanged, but underneath its skin lurks four electric motors and a raft of tech – like G-Turn and G-Steering – to make light work of its off-road adventures.
MINI Countryman SE ALL4
The new Countryman is longer and taller than its predecessor and for the first time, is now available in all-electric guise to tackle your urban adventures.
This author has always had a penchant for the versatile Countryman, because it ticks a lot of boxes as a runabout.
Chunky-chic styling, great interior space for occupants and cargo and now, a choice of either the E’s 204hp/250Nm or the SE All4’s 313hp / 494Nm make for a recipe for rambunctious fun.
Porsche Macan
Porsche aims to offer the sportiest electric performer with everyday useability in the B-SUV segment with the electric Macan, which is underpinned by the PPE platform.
The Turbo delivers a maximum of 639hp and 1130Nm, and the 4, 408hp and 650Nm, both on overboost. The combined WLTP range is 591 km in the Macan Turbo and 613 km in the Macan 4.
