DRINK| Whisky art | The Macallan
Speyside single malt whisky label The Macallan is bringing its immersive art exhibition to Singapore as it celebrates its newest travel retail exclusive whisky range, The Colour Collection, in collaboration with world-renowned artist and graphic designer David Carson. The exhibition is part of a global tour with a stopover in Singapore from Oct 7 to 11 at the ArtScience Museum.
The Colour Collection is a new range of exceptional age-statement whiskies celebrating the brand’s commitment to natural colour and reflecting the influence of sherry seasoning and its intrinsic connection to nature.
Visitors will be taken on a guided presentation of Carson’s art pieces in the gallery, which were inspired by The Macallan’s creation process. Highlights include a Time Tunnel that takes guests through the maturation process of whisky and the Exploration of Colours, an immersive and textural showcase that brings Carson’s work on The Macallan to life using augmented reality.
